In the end the devs view on it is what matters as they haven’t added it with it being a request that pops up since the early days makes there stance clear. Yes it’s easy to make one but there is no need to make one and dose take away from the game in many peoples opinions. You agreeing with that or not is meaningless, it is a vary valid reason to not make one that has been used by many devs in the past.

Even if it’s for testing they rather you test stuff by playing the proper way this is not hard to understand and the same reason many devs don’t add such features. This is why easy modes like serenity is given that was given exactly to the request for a sandbox mode. They want you to play there game not cheat or have unlimited resources to do so.
